My back is really hurting! I mean really hurting! It doesn’t matter if I am sitting up, lying down, standing up, or standing down (don’t know what that means, but I was going for parallel structure).
I assume that I will be feeling like this for the next two-ish months while I continue to grow—throwing off my center of gravity and adding pressure to my joints—but I’m not sure what to do.
Chris keeps reminding me of the monthly bill that we pay for my gym membership as if I don’t already have a guilt complex about not going. But I just don’t think I can do anything when my back hurts. Right?

Hey Jenny...this is Texann from rugby. With my first pregnancy, I walked and worked out and I still got back pain. Heating pads helped and lots of tylenol! With this second pregnancy, I haven't worked out at all! I have been WAY too tired and then I pulled a muscle on by my ribcage so that has also kept me from working out, but I haven't had back pain as bad as I did with the first. I think it is different with each pregnancy. So tell those that say working out will help that it isn't always true!
Hey Jen, I work at 24 hr fitness and I've seen woman do yoga up to 9 months. I suggest doing yoga. It helps you stay limber which is good for delivery yet you'll feel in line which helps you feel more comfortable. I know they have pregnancy yoga so you could try that.
